  The Primitive Area is located in the center of the activities and has a continual flow of people. The area is flat with trees so you will be able to set up easily. Restrooms and hot showers are near-by for your convenience. We ask that you dress appropriately for public show. Full leggings must be worn with breechcloths. Firewood will be available.

     The following fees will be charged: Camper only fee $10.00.  Blanket Trader fee $25.00. Small Marquee (300 sq.ft or less) fee $50.00. Large Marquee (over 300 sq.ft.) fee $75 (this includes marquees or tents with merchandise on tables, hanging or merchandise that uses more area than the usual living quarters with ONE fly).  If you use tables you are considered to be a merchant, paying marquee price. A camping fee will be charged if you have a tent in addition to your marquee. The space allotted will be based on the specified dimensions listed on your application. We need to know the dimensions for the “ground space”                (frontage, depth, height) you require, including ropes and fire pits. If you have a fire pit, let us know where you plan to locate the fire. Place yourself facing your “ground space” (from the customer’s viewpoint), and then indicate where you wish to place your fire pit.  It may be necessary for you to intertwine ropes with a neighbor.

INDIANA FISH & GAME DEPARTMENT guidelines must be followed for any furs, feathers or animal parts displayed, used for demonstration, or offered for sale.  “Protected or regulated wild animals, live, dead, or the meat therefrom, cannot be sold, traded or bartered. (Exceptions: lawfully taken furbearers, squirrel tails, deer hides, antlers, hooves, and cured feathers may be sold).” “ No fish, frogs, or turtles taken under a fishing or hunting license may be bought, sold, or bartered.” “All reptiles and amphibians native to Indiana are protected by law.”
